"Having recently been named one of the best employers in Baden-Württemberg and the ITC sector by Great Place to Work®, the award as one of the 100 best employers in Germany is another success for us," says Birte Hackenjos, CEO of the Haufe Group. "We are convinced that it is the people, our employees, who make us unique and successful. That's why we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can make the best possible impact. The award makes this commitment even more visible."
Employee feedback as the core of the award
The evaluation of the companies within the competition is based on a two-stage process: Firstly, employees are asked in an anonymous survey to rate aspects such as team spirit, fairness, appreciation or identification with the company. Secondly, as part of a comprehensive culture audit, management provides insights into their concepts for creating an attractive corporate culture. This audit accounts for 25 percent of the overall assessment, while employee feedback is the significantly stronger influencing factor at 75 percent.
"In the course of this survey, 95 percent of our participating colleagues rated the Haufe Group as a very good place to work," summarizes Birte Hackenjos. "This is an very high rating compared to the other participants, which reinforces our strategic orientation as an employer. By participating in the competition, we have created a valuable database of feedback and impulses, which we are now using to continuously develop ourselves further - as an employer, but also as a future-oriented company."
