Haufe Group is expanding its campus to include a new building with space for up to 400 people. By the end of 2022,modern working environments will be created at the company's headquarters in the Haid district on an area of more than 10,000 square meters, offering space for personal exchange, creativity and collaborative work. With its decision for the new building, the family-owned company is emphasizing its strong market position and its ambitions for further growth.
The new building project creates space for additional collaboration and event areas as well as meeting rooms and workstations, which will be added in the coming years. The new building extends the existing campus and is intended in particular to offer opportunities for personal encounters and modern forms of collaboration. "As an innovation-driven company, it is important to us to create the space for the working environments of the future today, in which we can work together even better and develop and implement ideas together.", explains CEO Birte Hackenjos.
"Expanding our campus in Freiburg now is a conscious strategic decision with which we are thinking ahead and setting the framework for our continued successful future," says Harald Wagner, CFO of Haufe Group, adding: "We are well positioned and have the necessary basis to invest continuously and sustainably in the future of Haufe Group."
The existing building at the junction of Munzinger Straße/Bötzinger Straße will be demolished for the new building. The new, energy-efficient building will include a photovoltaic system and charging stations for electric cars and bicycles. Initial preparatory work will begin at the end of February, 2021. The new construction project is the fourth expansion of the campus site; the latest building was completed at the beginning of 2018.
