Street art by Tom Brane artistically picks up on megatrend "New Work" and invites applications / Several hundred additional jobs created

A 30-square-meter street art exhibit by artist Tom Brane now adorns the large construction site at the Haufe Group headquarters in Freiburg's Haid district. The well-known illustrator has scenically depicted the work and creative interaction at the group's new headquarters. On an area of more than 10,000 square meters, modern working environments with space for exchange and collaboration as well as numerous new workplaces will be created in the coming months.

Tom Brane: "With this artwork, I have dedicated myself to a subject area that is new to me. The challenge of creatively shaping 'working in the future' for the Haufe Group and contributing my artistic perspective on this topic was a great experience through which I was able to learn a lot of new things. It's a wonderful fit, because lifelong learning is also one of the basic motifs of the Haufe Group."

With the extraordinary art installation, the Freiburg-based company invites interested talents and experts to help shape the further development of the Haufe Group as a modern technology, media and training company and to apply for one of the numerous open positions. In the course of the new building, the Haufe Group will create around 100 new jobs per year in order to meet the growing market requirements. The company currently employs over 1,400 people at its Freiburg site.

"Despite all mobile flexibility, we believe that personal encounters remain important. We feel and experience the desire for this every day," says Birte Hackenjos, CEO of the Haufe Group. "The new building on our campus will open up even more space for creative exchange and collaboration in the future."

The new Haufe Group building is scheduled for completion by early 2023 and will provide space for around 400 employees. Among other things, the new, energy-efficient building will have a photovoltaic system and charging stations for electric cars and bicycles. Certification by the German Sustainable Building Council is also being sought.
